Pengaruh Pemberian Abu Janjang Kelapa Sawit Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogeae L)

The giving of soil palm scaffold dust in a peanut cultivation has an advantage because it is containing high potassium and many other macro hara elements. Beside that, it is also can improve the soil pH, improve the soil hara supply and microorganism activities. Therefore, the oil palm scaffold dust can be use as a hara resource especially potassium. This research has been conducted at The Attemp Garden of Technical Implementation Unit of Agriculture Faculty Riau University, started from May until August 2008. this research is conducted experimentaly using the group random device with 4 treatments and 5 groups. The parameter that has been observed are the plant height, the primer branch amount, the pod amount per sample, the seed dry weight of 100 seed per plot. This research result shows that the giving of the oil palm scaffold dust 120 kg/ha can improve the pod amount of sample plant per plot as much as 40% and the dry seed weight per cubic as much as 92% (2,62 ton/ha) comparing the control (1,4 ton/ha).
