Pengaruh Lama Pengomposan Sampah Pasar Dengan Dekomposer Trichoderma Sp Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Caisim

The research entiled “The Effect of Composting Time Market Rubbish By Using Decomposer Trichoderma sp to Growth and Production Caisim Plant”. This Research is conducted in attempt Garden of Agriculture Faculty of Riau University, started from December 2007 until March 2008. This research purpose to get the best composting time of market rubbish for increase growth and production of caisim plant. This research is conducted by using the Complete Random Device (CRD) non factorial with 4 treatment. The first treatment is composting during 1 week, the second is composting during 3 weeks, the third is composting during 5 weeks and the last is composting during 7 weeks. The result of various investigation analysis is tested by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test ( DNMRT ) in a 5% level. The parameter wich been observed are the height of plant, the length of leaf, The width of leaf, the total of leaf, The fresh weigh per plant, The fresh weigh for consumption per plant and The fresh weigh of plant per plot. The result of this research indicate that composting of market rubbish with decomposer Trichoderma sp during 3 weeks can increase the growth and production caisim plant.
