Pertumbuhan dan produksi tomat (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill) dengan pemberian abu janjang kelapa sawit dan fosfor di medium Gambut
This research is executed in The Greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty, at Bina Widya Street, Sub-district of Simpang Baru, Tampan Regency, Pekanbaru. which located at 10 meter height above the sea level. This research is conducted for 4 months, started from July until October 2007.
This research is conducted experimentally using the Complete Random Device (CRD) in a form of factorial with two factors i.e. Ladder Dust of Oil Palm and Phosphor.
The first factor, Ladder Dust of Oil Palm consisted of four levels i.e. without ladder dust, 5 ton of ladder dust/ha, 10 ton of ladder dust/ha, and 15 ton of ladder dust/ha. The second factor consisted of 85 kg SP36/ha, 170 kg Sp36/ha, and 255 kg Sp36/ha. Each treatment combination repeated three times so that obtained 36 set of attempt. The parameters which observed are the soil pH, the root protrude ratio, the dry weight (gram), the first flower emerge (HSS), the flowers amount (bud), the first harvest age (HST), the fruits amount per plant (fruit), the percentage of flower which become fruit (%) and the fruit weight (gram).
The research result shows that the treatment of Ladder Dust of Oil Palm and Phosphor gives an insignificantly effect to some parameters and significantly effect to the parameters of root protrude ratio, the dry weight, the flowers amount, the first harvest age, and the fruit weight. The treatment which shows the best result is without ladder dust of oil palm with the phosphor dose 0.39 g/polybag.
