Pengaruh pemberian mulsa dan pupuk fosfor terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill)

An experiment has been conducted to study the effect giving mulsa
and Phosphor fertilizer to Tomato production and growth. The
experiment was done at (UPT) experimental farm of agriculture Dept.
University of Riau, Pekanbaru, beginning on Desember 2007 until
March 2008. The experiment was arranged in completely randomized
design using 2 factor of treatment ; application of mulsa (With out
mulsa, Mulsa alang-alang, and mulsa plastic hitam perak), :
application of phosphor (36,72,108 g of SP-36). Further stastical test
by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test at 5% level. The result
application of mulsa and Phospor fertilizer significantly to the first
flower, age of crop, heavy of fruit and production every plot. The
result of research show s the giving mulsa alang-alang and Phosphor
fertilizer 108’ g plant-1 give good result for tomato production and
growth.
