Pengaruh Motivasi, Kepemimpinan, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Terhadap Kompetensi Guru di Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of motivation, leadership and education training course towerd teachers’ competence from publik high schools, either simultaneously or partially.
This study took 108 teacher as a sample from all public high school of Bangko sub-district, Rokan Hilir Regency. The analysis model used is multiple linear regression model, meanwhile the hypotesis test used is the statistical test such as; F test, determination test (R2), t test and correlation test (r2).
The result of this study showed that motivation, leadership, and education training course gave simultaneously and significantly influence towerd teachers’ competences. It is indicated by the value of tobs > ttable at significance level α = 0.05, the value of Fobs > Ftable and the big of effect contributed by the independent variable on the dependent variable from determination of 62.70 % meanwhile the other 37.30 % was influences by another variables. The test partially showed that the tobs on leadership, education training course are bigger than ttable. On the contrary, the tobs on motivation was smaller than ttable. It means that leadership and education training course variables gave bigger influences toward teachers’ competences rather than motivation variable either simultaneously or partially.
As impllication, this research has beeb performed only on the public high schools. Therefore, for further research, it is necessary to investigate on the private high school which have numerous of population by adding another contruction variables that can affect the teachers’ competences directly such as teachers’ performance, supervision and work environment so that the coefficient of determination can be varied significantly.
