Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Motivasi dan Komitmen Kerja Pegawai Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine the effect of variable Workload Leadership and Motivation Work and its influence on employee work Commitment common Bureau Riau Provincial Secretariat. This research was conducted on the general Secretariat of the Regional Bureau Employees Riau province the total sample of 65 people. In testing the hypothesis menggunaka statistical analysis using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS analysis tools.
The results showed that the leadership and the workload has a significant influence on the motivation of employees working within the General Secretariat of the Regional Bureau of Riau Province. With good leadership will be able to provide motivation to work is also good for employees as well as the workload in accordance with the ability of employees will also be able to trigger the spirit and motivation of employees. However, from this study showed also that the leadership and the work load has no influence on work commitments. A work commitment feelings, attitudes and behavior of individuals to identify themselves as part of the organization, involved in the activities of the organization and loyal to the organization in achieving organizational goals. But with other underlying conditions that may affect the leadership and workload no longer give any influence on the work commitment, such as political influence, lack of sharpness in implementing the rules and so forth.
The theoretical implications that can be derived from this study is the results of this study indicate that relates to the work motivation of local government through staffing agencies can pay attention to the factors that influence employee motivation include leadership and workload. Related to organizational commitment, the government needs to issue a strict rule about the placement and removal of employees.
