On a hyperbola, given a point outside the hyperbola, a tangent line to the hyperbola can be drawn from that point. This thesis will be discussed other alternatives to determining the tangent line equation from a point outside the hyperbola, the coordinate of the tangency point and the length of tangent line from a point outside the hyperbola by utilizing the line poles.
