The background of this study the impeachment Indra Adnan Muchlis post of chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) I party Functional Group (Golkar) Riau, where the term Indra Adnan Muchlis as Golkar Riau ketuaDPD I was barely five-year tenure as to which set in Statutes and Bylaws (AD / ART) Golkar, the mechanism should be taken to implement the Regional Council Extraordinary (Musdalub).
Impeachment or usually better known impeachment is stopping someone from office before his term expires, usually due to perform actions that violate the values and norms that have been set up in an institution or agency organization.
This research was conducted in the DPD 1 Golkar party Riau province with descriptive research with qualitative approaches and techniques of data collection using interviews, documentation and supported by theories such as the theory according to research political party, Leadership, Impeachment, and conflict management.
Results from this study is that there are several factors that led to the case of impeachment against Indra Adnan Muchlis of office ketuaDPD I Golkar Riau both internally as coordination problems and elite interests DPD and are eksternnal as political moment when it is adjacent to the election of Regional Head Riau Province and interests elitDPP Golkar party.
