This study is a study that examines the role of political parties in the winning coalition partner and deputy regent regent Harris and Marwan Ibrahim on Pelalawan local elections in 2011. Political parties are very influential institution in its function as a forum for political recruitment. The method used in this paper is a descriptive qualitative research method which is defined as the process of solving the problem was investigated by describing the state of the subject and object of research at the present time based on the facts that looks or how it is. The research location is in Pelalawan and writers gather research data from several books, government regulations, journals, mass media some other internet media websites and in-depth interviews with informants research that successful team leader, team leader of the coalition, the public and members of the Commission.
This research resulted in the conclusion that concrete efforts undertaken by the Party Supporters Harris-Marwan Couple that with the coalition conduct Joint Declaration, Generating RhomaIrama, Make Posters, banners up on seeking support to community-association in Pelalawan. Reflecting on the actual persona Harris still inferior to Abdul AnasBadrun, this study proves that the "persona" a person is not always able to be the winner in each event the elections. Regarding the coalition that was formed in an effort to win the Harris-Marwan, Theoretically coalition parties are included in the definition of political parties according to Carl J. Friedrich, political parties as a group of people who organized to seize or retain power, in this case the coalition of political parties in winnings Harris-Marwan aims to seize power while maintaining, menginta Harris previously was Plt. Pelalawan regent. Form a coalition that exists is a form of coalition Minimal Winning Coalition, namely the maximization of power / gain as many seats in the cabinet.
