Evaluasi Pengelolaan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Bru (Ppdb) di Sma Negeri Olahraga Provinsi Riau

This research was descriptive qualitative focusing on the evaluation of the management of new students recruitment (PPDB) at Sports Senior High School Riau Province with a sub-focus that consisted of the evaluation of context, input, process and product (CIPP). The data were gathered through observation, interview and documentation using CIPP approach to find out the management evaluation of new students recruitment (PPDB) at Sports Senior High School Riau Province in the past three years (2012/2013, 2013/2014, and 2014/2015).
The results of the study indicated that the context evaluation produced background, suggestions, objective and the desired goals. The input evaluation produced general guidelines and administrative requirements and special requirements for the recruitment of new students. Furthermore, the evaluation process produced process, procedures and mechanism, recruitment announcement, new students selection, document preparation, general selection, administrative selection, special selection, tested materials/basic test and the stages of the new students recruitment.
The product evaluation produced the criteria of administrative selection and special selection, and the assessor of administrative selection and special selection and the graduates’ outcomes. On the whole, the evaluation components of new students selection (PPDB) at Sports SMAN Riau Province were already met the technical instructions and the existing regulations.
