Analisis Literasi Media Dan Efektivitas Media Penyuluhan Terhadap Petani Padi Di Desa Tebing Tinggi Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

The purposes of this research are: identify extention media of existing, knowing the level of effectiveness extention media, and analyzing the level of literacy extention agent ability and paddy farmer in Tebing Tinggi Village Benai District Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research used survey method. The method of respondent taking in this research is sensus. Appropriate purpose of the first research is using descriptive qualitative analysis. The second purpose of research to see level efektiviness extention media, can be measure by using EPIC model (Empathy, Perception, Impack and Communication) with Likert Summated Rating Scale (LSRS). The third purpose of research basically use scale same with second purpose, the third purpose use likert scale too, where each option answers given scores. Research results obtained extention media of existing in Tebing Tinggi Village. There are three types of media, extention media with a physical object, printed and “Do’a Padang” citizenry extention media. Extention media level of effectiveness by using physical objects are less effective category with an average total score of 3,57. Extention media printed form of sketches and posters are less effective hearts categories with an average total score of 2,51. “Do’a Padang” citizenry extention media are less quite effective category with an average total score of 3,11. The level of media literacy skills of farmers viewed from Individual competences at the level of basic with a total average score of 1.23 and extention agent is at the medium level with a total mean score of 2.09. Shows that farmers are less able and extention agent quite able to take advantage of technological advances growing media now.
