Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bahasa Anak Melalui Metode Bercerita Menggunakan Boneka Jari Untuk Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TKA Kurnia Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru
Based on observations during the research duty in kindergarten Kurnia Tampan District of Pekanbaru encountered symptoms in the children's language skills, 1) There are still many children who have not been able to communicate with their peers by using language that is clear and organized, 2) In the classroom children The girls could not talk properly and regularly. The purpose of this study were 1) To determine proficiency in children aged 5-6 years, 2) To determine the increase proficiency in children aged 5-6 years through storytelling using finger puppets. Types of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Subject of this study in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kurnia about 20 people. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) the language through storytelling ability in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kurnia can be enhanced through storytelling, 2) Use finger puppet media in enhancing children's language skills through storytelling in children aged 5-6 years are by applying a finger puppet media to improve children's language skills through storytelling method in accordance with the stage of cognitive development to be achieved by children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kurnia. It can be seen from every aspect of the observed increase, 3) Percentage increase in capability discussed in children aged 5-6 years using a finger puppet media in kindergarten Kurnia Tampan District of Pekanbaru in improving children's language skills with improvement as follows: first cycle reached 125.1 (51.75%). Conclusion is hypothesis testing hypothesis of this study that reads "through storytelling can enhance language skills children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kurnia Tampan District of Pekanbaru acceptable".
