Police officers as part of a legal system, a very important role in eradicating the crime of theft, especially against theft by weighting. Criminal Investigator Resort Unit V Buser Pekanbaru City police district to perform a series of actions to combat the crime of theft by solving mode auto glass is often the case in the city of Pekanbaru.
In accordance with the above description , the authors are interested in conducting research entitled " Role of Police in Combating Crime Solving Theft Auto Glass With DI mode Jurisdiction Pekanbaru City Police " . The problems discussed in this study are : First , how is the role of the police in combating the crime of theft by solving mode auto glass in Pekanbaru. Second, what are the bottlenecks of the police in combating the crime of theft by solving mode windshield ; Third , how is the effort made police in overcoming obstacles in combating the crime of theft by solving mode windshield .
The method used in this research using sociological law research methods with an empirical approach , which is done by approaching the problems examined by the nature of the law in accordance with the reality of living in society. descriptive nature of this study , which provides an overview of research in a systematic and careful with the actual facts of a particular population , with the aim of solving the actual problems faced today and aims to gather data or information to be arranged, described and analyzed.
The conclusion of this study is that the role of Pekanbaru Police in combating the crime of theft by breaking the glass mode the car has not run optimally. for the crime of continuous casualties occurred in almost all regions of Pekanbaru , and still a few players who can be caught and the police's lack of anticipation for example socialization barriers and appeal to the public because of lack of personnel and lack of data owned by the police and the lack of public awareness of the dangers leave valuables in the car thus hindering the investigation conducted Pekanbaru City Police.
