Analisis Pola Konsumsi Masyarakat Daerah Pertanian Dalam Dan Pesisir Di Kabupaten Pelalawan

This research is held on Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras and Teluk Meranti in April 2013 to Mei 2014. It purposes “to identify the effect of income, number of family dependant , and education to consumption pattern of people of Pertanian Dalam and Pesisir area in Kabupaten Pelalawan”.
The Method that is used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. Primer data that is processed in this research was collected through questionnaire, interview, and observation, whereas secondary data was collected through documents which is connected with this research, with 100 people as sample.
The results of this research shows that number of family dependants of Pertanian Dalam people is between 1 to 8 people, while Pesisir people is just about 1 to 6 people. This means the more the number of family dependants, the more consumptions or spending of Pertanian Dalam as well as Pesisir people. The respondent education level o Pertanian Dalam and Pesisir people effects consumption pattern through how they prioritize their needs. The income of Pertanian Dalam and Pesisir people is not too far different. The income average of total income about Rp 1.500.00 to Rp 3.500.000 id Rp 1.952.150. The average food consumption expenditure of Pertanian Dalam people is Rp 1.110.050, while Pesisir people is Rp 1.021.350. The average non-food consumption expenditure of Pertanian Dalam people is Rp 788.400, while Pesisir people is Rp 790.700. These results show that consumption expenditure between both areas have similarity in terms of food and non-food.
