Prospek Pengembangan Industri Makanan Olahan Pancake Durian Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research aims to determine the prospects of the processed food industry businesses durian pancake in Pekanbaru and to investigate any problems or constraints encountered in durian pancake run the business in the city of Pekanbaru. Study population and sample taking in all outlets selling durian pancake in Pekanbaru is numbered 7 and using a sample population amounted to 7 samples.
The method used in this research is using feasibility studies, to conduct a review of aspects of the feasibility study that review on aspects of nonfinancial through reviews on aspects of the market, the technical aspects of production, management and legal and socio-economic aspects as well as reviews on aspects financially through a review of financial feasibility by performing the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), B / C ratio, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback Period (PP).
These results indicate that the non-financial aspects of the review showed that the processed food industry in Pekanbaru City durian pancake prospects and feasible to develop and review the financial aspects through feasibility calculations show NPV = 65,281,572.04> 0, the value of B / C Ratio 1 , 25> 1, IRR 17.03%> 12% and the value of PP for 25.95 months (2.16 years). From these calculations indicate that the processed food industry in Pekanbaru City durian pancake prospects and deserves to be developed.
