Profil Pasien Asma Yang Berobat Ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat Rsud Bangkinang Periode 1 Januari – 31 Desember 2016
Asthma is a chronic respiratory inflammatory disease which involves many cells and elements. Chronic inflammatory increases airway hyper responsivity which makes repetitive episodic symptoms such as wheezing, dyspnea, tightness in chest and coughs especially at night or early in the morning. The aims of this research is to know the profile of asthma patients in Emergency Department of Bangkinang Regency Hospital in January 1st – December 31st 2016. This is a descriptive research with a cross sectional approach and using total sampling technic to find medical record of asthma patients in Emergency Department of Bangkinang Regency Hospital. The result shows the asthma highest patients was in the 35-44 years old age group (22,3%), female (54,1%) and housewives (33,8%). The highest asthma patients came in November (15,9%) and used of social insurance administration organization (63,1%). The highest risk factor was the presence of genetic predisposition of asthma within family (49,7%). The highest number of comorbid was rhinitis (15,3%). The highest treatment is using short acting beta-2 agonist (97,5%). The highest duration between symptoms on until patients get acute asthma exacerbation treatment was less than 1 day (88,5%) and duration of observation asthma patients in emergency department was mostly 5-10 hours and clinical recovering patients (77,1%).
