Strategi Pt.Tri Bakti Sarimas (Tbs) Dalam Memasarkan Crude Palm Oil (Cpo) Di Pasar India
CPO marketing by PT.Tri Bakti Sarimas in India is cetegrated by the strategy from PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas in marketing CPO. The strategy in CPO marketing is very important because the company certainly has barriers of both internal and external aspects that one of business competition nowadays is getting tight and competitive. Other barriers that have negative influence to the CPO trade especially abroad are the issue of global warming and tropical deforestation, since the CPO industry is considered as one of the problem. Barriers and threats in terms of economic and politic international conditions also can not be separated in the marketing of CPO products because it can affect the fluctuations of international CPO trade. Related with these obstacles and threats, opportunities in developing the industry and marketing of CPO products are still very large and potential. One of its products is the demand for CPO products are getting increase both overseas. This is supported by the potential natural resources which put Indonesia as one of the largest CPO producers in the world.
The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative. Descriptive to compare the factual with the existing theories which is close relation with the the case to take a conclusion. Qualitative is a study used to describe and analyze phenomena, event, social activity, attitude, belief, perception, and individual or group.
The result of the research showed marketing strategy of PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas on marketing is refer to policy of marketing which have done for the quality of product, price, promotion and distribution. In Improving the quality of PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas conducts the research and analysis of studying to CPO DOBI. For CPO price competition, PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas keep continuing to encourage and together with oil palm associations and institution to give advise to the government to re-impose taxes on CPO exporters and hedge against CPO products. Increase of production did by PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas to conduct community plantation development through revitalization program. Repairing distribution, PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas may not feel making any improvement in the process of distribution. Expansion of marketing, PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas plants the European market as target.
