Pengembangan Materi Kemampuan Berpikir Positif Siswa SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru
This study aims to compile the material about students' positive thinking skills required for junior high school students in terms of material clarity, material systematics, image support, material upgrades, and material completeness and video / game support. In everyday life, people always use their thinking power to Solve the problems they face. Problems encountered are resolved with positive thinking. Therefore, researchers feel the need to develop a material about Positive Thinking Skills Students are expected to be used by guidance and counseling teachers to be taught to their students. This material is prepared using research and development (R & D) methods. The purpose of this research is 1) The creation of materials Positive Thinking Skills Students viewed from the clarity, systematics, image support, upgrades, completeness of material, and support games / video. 2) To know the quality of material produced. This material is validated by lecturers 1 & 2, counseling teachers and 35 students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. This material is tested to the students with the allocation of time 3 hours lesson (4 x 40 ') This material consists of understanding and Positive Thinking Theory, Benefit of Positive Thinking, Reality Positive Thinking, How to Grow Positive Thoughts, Ways to Apply Someone Applying the Concept of Positive Thinking in Life , And How to Grow Positive Thinking Ability. The result of the research from the development of this material shows the quality of the material produced is in the category of "Good", with Material Quality compiled The quality of the material clarity aspect is 4.07, based on the quality criteria included in the "Good" category.The quality of the systematic aspects of the material is 4.04, based on The quality criteria are included in the "Good" category. The quality of the image support aspect is 3.83, based on the quality criteria included in the "Good" category. The quality of the material update aspect is 4.12, based on the quality criteria included in the "Good" category. The quality of material completeness is 4.25, based on the quality criteria included in the "Very Good" category. The quality of the games / video support aspect is 4.22, Based on the quality criteria of the material included in the "Very Good" category of 4.08 score for the entire assessment aspect.
