Gambaran Penatalaksanaan Pemasangan Double J Stent Pada Kasus Urologi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2011-2016

Double j stent is a thin tube inserted in to ureter to relieve obstruction or compression from internal or external causes. This study had an aim to understand the profile of double j stent management based on age, gender, diagnosis, duration of usage, method of insertion and posible complications in Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province in 2011-2016. There were 88 patients using double j stent, the highest frequency in 41-50 years old (34,09%), and men were most frequent than woman (7:3). The diagnosis were urolithiasis (76,09%) as the highest caused of diseases. Most of patients using the stent for 30-40 days (28,41%). Double j stent most insertion by open surgery (75%). Only 17 patients (19,32%) got complications, the most frequent complication were encrustation (58,82%). As a conclucion, most patients having double j stent for urolithiasis diagnosis and only a few having encrustation as complication.
