Gambaran Kasus Cedera Kepala Sedang Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Pada Tahun 2015
Head injuries are among the most common types of trauma encountered in emergency room. Head injury is a injury that is directly or indirectly in the head which effects the injury to the scalp, skull fracture, tear on the lining of the brain, damage of the brain tissue and neurological disorders. Moderate head injury is defined as an admission GCS score of 9 to 12. 15% patients with brain injury who are seen in the emergency room have a moderate injury. This study is aimed to describe the overview of moderate head injury in Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province in 2015 based on sex, age, morphology of
injury, mechanism of injury, comorbidity, management of injury and outcome. This research used descriptive methode by collecting data in Medical Record department of Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province. Technique of taking sample in this research was total sampling. There were 145 samples obtained in this study. The result of this study represent that patients with moderate head injury were mostly men, as many as 71%. The largest age group range 15-24 years old by 37,2%. Cerebral contusio is the most common type of morphology head injury, as many as 34,5%. Blunt injury caused 95,2% of all ii
cases. There were 80,7% patients diagnose moderate head trauma without the comorbid. Management of moderate head trauma that most found was nonoperative way as many as 75,2% and the outcome that most found was alive, as many as 93,1%.
