This nal project discusses the implied cost method to nd a better total trans-
portation cost. Implied cost method is applied in transportation problem of
pesticide shipment at PT. Tani Sejahtera Jaya. Then this method is compared
with Vogel's approach method, least cost method and northwest corner rule.
Total transportation cost using implied cost method is the same as the Vogel's
approach method.
