Penggunaan Beberapa Konsentrasi Baculovirus Oryctes Terhadap Mortalitas Kumbang Oryctes Rhinoceros L. Pada Kelapa Sawit
The research intended to observe best concentration of suspected lasuae infected by Baculovirus oryctes on the death of the Oryctes rhinoceros beetle. This research was conducted at plant pest laboratory and expriement garden of Agriculture of Faculty, Uniersity of Riau. From August to November 2017 this expriement was anducted expreimentally using completely randomized design (RAL) with five treatmens and four replications, each unit consisting of six beetles, intected by the dye method at concentrations 0 ml. 500 ml -1 water (0 x 106 PIBS.ml-1), 40 ml. 500 ml -1 water (6 x 106 PIBS.ml-1), 50 ml. 500 ml -1 water (7,6 x 106 PIBS.ml-1), 60 ml. 500 ml -1 water (0 x 106 PIBS.ml-1) dan 70 ml. 500 ml -1 water (9,6 x 106 PIBS.ml-1). Based on the result of the study, the suspension concetration at 70 ml. 500 ml -1 water (9,6 x 106 PIBS.ml-1) was the best tendency concentration because it gave the fastest 120 hours of early death time, 50 lethal time to 288 hours after application and the right concentration to turn off 95% of the Oryctes rhinoceros beetle is 10,58% or equivalent to 105,8 ml water 500 ml-1.
