Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Moving Class Dan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Dan Dampaknya Pada Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa Di SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Seikijang
This study aims to analyze the effect of moving class learning model
application and pedagogical competence of teachers to the motivation of
learning and its impact on student learning discipline in SMP Negeri 2 Bandar
Seikijang. The populations of this study were 151 students of class VIII and IX
at SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Seikijang. The sampling method was using
proportional random sampling of Slovin formula, so that obtained 110
students. The data collection used questionnaires with Likert scale. The
technique analysis data used the path analysis. The result of the analysis
shows that the application of moving class model and teacher pedagogic
competence have positive and significant influence directly and indirectly to
the student learning discipline through intervening variable (learning
motivation). In accordance to the observation results, the application of
moving class learning model according to the perception of students who
contribute the most increase in motivation and discipline of students is the
arrangement of the class room and the use of moving class learning process.
While for pedagogical competence of teachers, according to the students
perception in SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Seikijang is attitudes and ability of
teachers in understanding and approaching students and managing lessons
in the classroom. This shows that upright or poor quality of moving class
learning model and teacher pedagogic competence will also decrease or
increase student's learning motivation which impact to student's learning
discipline.
