Gambaran Penatalaksanaan Karsinoma Penis Dirumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2011-2016
Penile carcinoma is one of malignant disease in urology. Penile carcinoma still a health issue because the increasing incidence and cause an increase in morbidity. There for it is important to know the profile of management on penile carcinoma by age, ethnic group, location and shape of the primary lesion, clinical symptom, histopathology examination, tumor grading, clinical staging, examination of radiology and management. The research used a descriptive study. The research was conducted in Arifin Achmad Regional Genaral Hospital in Pekanbaru of Riau Province involving 20 patient medical records by total sampling. The result showed that penile carcinoma cases occurred mostly in age 46-55 years old which was 10 (50%) patients. The highest number ethnic group that has been surveyed is the Bataknese (50%). The most shape of the primary lesion was ulcer which was 9 (45%) patients. Shaft of the penile was the most location of primary lesion which was 8 (40%) patients. Most frequent symptom was there ware lumps on the penile in 18 (90%) patients. Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common type of penile carcinoma (100%). Pathological grade of primary tumor was G1 which was 14 (70%) patients. Most frequent clinical staging was staging II (60%). The most used radiology imaging was x- ray thorax and Ultrasonography Abdomen which was 14 (70%) patients. Radical penectomy was the most frequent treatment for penile carcinoma (40%). From this research we can conclude that penile carcinoma cases occurred mostly in elderly age which squamous cell carcinoma is the most common type of penile carcinoma and half of the patients were Bataknese.
