Optimasi Kondisi Pertumbuhan Aspergillus Sp.Ii Rta Isolat Lokal Riau Dalam Meningkatkan Produksi Asam Giberelat (Ga3)
Microorganisms can produce eco-friendly compounds such as gibberellic acid (GA3), naturally produced by fungi to enhance plant growth and improve post-harvest product quality. This study aims to determine the optimum conditions of carbon sources, pH, incubation time and agitation of Aspergillus sp.II RTA in producing gibberellic acid. Aspergillus sp.II RTA is cultured in the Czapek Dox Broth (CDB) medium. The production of GA3 in the medium was conducted in two phases and analysed by spectrophotometric method. The first phase was variations of carbon sources and pH, the second phase was variations of incubation and aeration. The results showed optimum condition of Aspergillussp.II RTA in production GA3 was sucrose as carbon source, at pH 4 and pH 5 as 4,175 g/L and 4,889 g/L respectively. GA3 production is optimal in agitation condition compared to without agitation with 7 days incubation time as 6,725 g/L. The production of GA3 is correlated negatively with the final pH of the fermentation culture medium. Keywords: Giberellic acid, Czapek Dox Broth, Aspergillus sp.II RTA, C sources
