Pengaruh Terapi Bercerita Menggunakan Boneka Tangan Terhadap Nyeri Saat Pemasangan Infus Pada Usia Pra Sekolah
Intravenous connulation is invasive procedure that cause pain for children. One of non-pharmacological technique easy to be done, can do by nurse, and theoretically effective to reduce when children undergoing invasive procedure is playing therapy using storytelling technique. The purpose of this study was determine the effect of storytelling strategy of the pain scale when preschool children undergoing intravenous cannulation. The data was collected since December 2016-January 2017 di RSUD Dumai used quasi experiment with the post test -only non eqiuvalent control. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with sample of 36 preschool children (3-5 years) 18 people in an experimental group, and 18 people in a control group. Pain was meassured directly by using FLACC (Face, Legs, Activity, Cry, Consolability) Scale.
