Strategi Pengembangan Home Industry Cake Dan Bakery Di Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the development strategy of cake and bakery home industry in Pekanbaru City In this study the total population of the study were all cake industry and bakery home industry entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru City, namely 40 businesses, sampling in this study using the census method because the population was less than 100 so that the entire population was sampled. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive. Measurements made in this study are using a questionnaire, the data is processed and analyzed using data tabulation, while to analyze it is to use SWOT analysis tools. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the main strength for the cake home industry and bakery in the city of Pekanbaru is that there are variations in product (taste) and subsequent weaknesses in the cake home industry and bakery in Pekanbaru City, namely the lack of promotional media. is Increasing public consumption of ready-made food and threats in the cake home industry and bakery in the city of Pekanbaru, namely the existence of substitute products (substitutes). Based on the results of the IE matrix shows that the cake and bakery home industry in the city of Pekanbaru is in the IV growth area which has strong internal and external capabilities that are and are in a stable state. In this situation the best effort is controlled by showing that businesses are growing and developing. home industry cake and bakery in these conditions pursue profit growth, sales, market share, and others.
