Analisis Personal Hygiene Dan Sanitasi Lingkungan Pada Sayur Lalapan Warung Ayam Penyet Terhadap Bakteri Escherichia Coli Sekitar Kampus Universitas Riau Pekanbaru
Some types of vegetables can be consumed directly as fresh vegetables without processed before, such as cabbage, basil and cucumber that are usually on the menu of “ayam penyet” stalls. Fresh vegetables are eaten rawly that potential to be contaminated by feces, characterized by existences of E. coli. This study aims to analyze the existences of E. coli bacteria on basil (Ocimum Americanum L.), Cabbage (Brassica Oleraceae) and Cucumis Sativus (Cucumis Sativus), to analyze the influence of personal hygiene and environmental sanitation factors on the existences of E. coli bacteria on Basil (Ocimum Americanum L.), Cabbage (Brassica Oleraceae) and Cucumis Sativus (Cucumis Sativus) at “ayam penyet”stalls and to analyze the influence of price and location factors of the stalls on decision making of purchasing “ayam penyet”. The research located around University of Riau, Panam, Pekanbaru City. The research method was survey usually vegetables as samples. The number of respondents interviewed where 23 people by census method, and 96 buyer was selected by Slovin Technique. This research analyzed by descriptive statistical and Chi Square analysis (Fisher). The results showed that there were 7 of 23 stalls negative of bacteria E. coli and 16 of positive. There was a significant correlation between Personal Hygiene and environmental sanitation on the existences of E. coli (p value = 0,027). Price and location factors of “ayam penyet” stalls were determined of society decision to buy “ayam penyet”.
