Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Permainan Memancing Ikan Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Paud Tunas Bunda Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
The background of this study is that most children do not recognize the symbol of numbers, the child is unable to mention the symbols of numbers 1-10, there are still children who have not been able to mention the sequence of numbers 1-10, and there are many children who do not exactly pair the number symbols corresponding to the number . For that required game equipment in the classroom or outside the classroom in accordance with the actual objects and artificial interesting and varied and not dangerous.
Based on these backgrounds, the researcher performs improvements and optimizes the ability to read the beginning of the child according to the level of development of his age. The purpose of the implementation of this research is (1) to know the improvement of the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years through the game of fishing. (2) to know how to apply the game of fishing game to increase the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years, and (3) to know how much increase the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children aged 4 -5 years through a game of fishing in PAUD Tunas Bunda Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. In 1 cycle there are 3 meetings. The data collection tool used in this research is in the form of observation sheet. The number of samples in this study were 15 children consisting of 10 boys and 5 girls.
The application of fishing games is maximal (Good) in the act of increasing the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children in cycle I and cycle II Based on the analysis of the assessment process of 2 cycles increased the ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children from prasiklus to cycle I of 33.75% To cycle II increased by 41.33% and from prasiklus to cycle II of 88.77% ..
From the data of the research on the increase of the ability to recognize the symbol of the numbers through the game of fish fishing for children aged 4-5 years before the action, cycle I and cycle II, obtained the average score before the implementation of action is 44.44% with the criteria MB. The average value in the first cycle of 59.44% with the criteria BSH. if to the average value in cycle I is still low and categorized BSH, then the researchers continue the second cycle. In cycle II the average value obtained is 83.89% with criteria BSB.
