Struktur Komunitas Gastropoda di Perairan Sungai Indragiri Desa Lubuk Terentang Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi ” sesuai dengan waktu yang di tentukan
Indragiri River is inhabited by many typs of gastropod. A research aims to understand the community structure of the gastropod in that river has been conducted in June-July 2018. There were 3 stations, the river bank far away from inhabitants settlement (Station 1), at the small island in the river center (Station 2), the river bank near from inhabitants activity (Station 3) and in each stations there were 3 quadrant point. Gastropods and water were sampled 3 times, once/week. The gastropods collected by hand and were preserved by formalin 10%. Parameters measured were the abundance, diversity index, dominance index and uniformity index of the gastropod. Water quality parameters measured were temperature, current speed, depth, pH and dissolved oxygen. Results shown that there were 5 gastropods spesies present, namely Brotia testudinaria, Melanoids granifera, Melanoides tuberculata, Thiara scabra and Bellamya sp. The density of gastropod ranged from 15 to 21 organisms/m2, diversity index was 1.763 to 2.199, dominance index was 0.230 to 0.325 and uniformity index was 0.882 to 0.947. The water quality parameter values were as follow : temperature 29 to 300C, current speed 15.18 to 24.91 cm/second, depth 12.2 to 20.5 cm, pH 6 and dissolved oxygen 8.59 to 9.75 mg/L. Data obtained indicate that the water of the Indragiri River is moderately polluted. Keywords : Mollusca, Brotia sp, River Ecosystem, Lubuk Terentang Village
