Penerapan Strategi Belajar Sq4r Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Di Kelas XI MIA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru
This research aims to increase students learning achievement by implementation of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) learning strategies on the Hydrocarbons subject in the class XI MIA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The form of the study was quasi-experimental with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 3 classes and the sample consisted of 2 classes randomly selected, namely the XI MIA 3 class as the experimental class and the XI MIA 2 class as the control class. The experimental class was treated with the application of the SQ4R learning strategy with the Direct Instruction learning model while the Direct Instruction learning model control class. The research instrument is a hydrocarbon question that has been tested for validity and reliability. The LKPD used is an LKPD that has been tested for validity. The results of the instrument testing are said to be valid and reliable. Hypothesis testing uses the right-t-test, based on the results of data analysis obtained that t count> t table is 8.67> 1.67 means that the application of SQ4R learning strategies can improve student learning achievement on the Hydrocarbons subject in the class XI MIA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru.
