Maya Index Dan Kepadatan Larva Aedes Aegypti Di Daerah Endemis Demam Berdarah Dengue Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis
Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by one of the dengue viruses, namely DENVs 1-4. This disease is transmitted to humans by the female mosquito Aedes aegypti (Ae. Aegypti) as its main vector. Dengue hemorrhagic fever patients in Bengkalis Regency in 2016 reached 908 cases, one of the most cases in Gajah Sakti Village as many as 41 cases. This study aims to determine the Maya Index and the density of larvae Ae. aegypti based on the hygiene risk index (HRI), breeding risk index (BRI), also larva free numbers (ABJ), container index (CI), house index (HI), Breteau Index (BI). This research is an observational descriptive study with a cross sectional design conducted from November to March 2019 in Gajah Sakti Village, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The research sample was in the form of 100 houses in Gajah Sakti Village that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the study were analyzed and presented in the form of a frequency table and expressed as a percentage. The results of this study showed 76% HRI, 77% BRI, 71% ABJ, 7.9% CI, 29% HI, and 35% BI. This study showed 76% of HRI, 77% of BRI, 71% of ABJ, 7.9% of CI, 29% of HI, and 35% of BI. Resulted on the values of HRI and BRI, most of the Maya Index werecategorized as medium (65%). As a conclusion, larvae density calculation based on ABJ, CI, HI and BI found in Gajah Sakti Village were in moderate risk to the spread of dengue fever.
