Perbedaan Tingkat Kecemasan Pada Pasien Hipertensi Terkontrol Dan Tidak Terkontrol Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Hypertension was one of the non-communicable diseases which is a health problem in Indonesia and in the world. The condition of sustained increased in blood pressure will cause complications to other organs that cause strokes, heart attacks, kidney disorders, and blindness. Hypertension was caused by various factors, one of them is anxiety. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences of anxiety levels in controlled and uncontrolled hypertensive patients in Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This research was analytical research with cross sectional method. The sampling techniques used consecutive samplingwith a total sample of 70 respondents. To measure the level of anxiety this study applieda questionnaire, while the blood pressure data was taken from the patient's medical record data. The results showed that the most characteristic of hypertension patients was over 60 years old, 48 people (68.6%), 41 women (58.6%), 29 high school educators (41.4%), and working as 32 housewives (36.4%). Most hypertensive patients have moderate anxiety totaling 19 people (27.1%) and controlled blood pressure, amounting to 43 people (61.4%). Data were analyzed using the chi square test. Chi square test indicated that the results of p was 0.419. It can be concluded that there is no difference in the level of anxiety in patients with controlled and uncontrolled hypertension at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province.
