Gambaran Faktor-Faktor Risiko Gangguan Fungsi Ginjal Pada Pasien Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (Bph) Dengan Retensi Urin Yang Menjalani Transurethral Resection Of The Prostate (Turp)
Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) with urinary retention might result in kidney dysfunction. Several risk factors might influence the deterioration of kidney function are increased age, history of hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus (DM), urinary tract infections, urinary retention, urinary tract stones, and duration of blockage. The aims of the study was to assess the description of risk factors of renal function disorders in patient BPH with urinary retention doing TURP in Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital in Riau Province. This study is a retrospective descriptive study using medical record of patients. The sampling technique used was total sampling and there was 64 sampling. The results showed the risk factors of renal function disorders in BPH patient with urinary retention were aged 60-69 years 27 (42.2%), history of hypertension 34 (53.1%), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) 8 (12.5%), urinary tract infections 23 (35.9%), urinary retention 64 (100%), urinary tract stones 9 (14.1%), and duration of blockage (
