Gambaran Faktor Risiko Kanker Testis Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2013-Desember 2018
Testicular cancer is the most malignancy in men aged 15-34 years and constitutes 1-2% of all malignancies in men. Various risk factors related to lifestyle have a close relationship with these cases such as smoking history, history of cryptorchidism, family history and a history of testicular cancer. This study to describe the incidence, patient profile, and risk factors found in testicular cancer patients at the Regional General Hospital Arifin Achmad Province of Riau in January 2013-December 2018. The results showed there were 23 testicular cancer patients consisting of 91.3% seminoma and 8.7 % embryonal carcinoma. This case is more in the 15-34 year age group as much as 47.8%. Most patients came from Pekanbaru City 43.7% and most patients 47.8% had Malay tribes followed by Javanese and Batak tribes. As many as 60.9% of patients have risk factors for smoking history. Patients with a history of cryptorchidism, family history and a history of testicular cancer were not found in this study. Keywords: Testicular cancer, patient profile, risk factors.
