Gambaran Komplikasi Kehamilan Dengan Penyakit Jantung Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2013-2017
Heart disease is the major non-obstetric cause of morbidity and mortality in pregnancy. Several study showed that pregnancy with heart diseases are related to maternal and perinatal complications such as mortality, heart failure, arrhytmias, pulmonary edema, low birth weight, and prematurity. The aim of this study is to know the incidence, risk factor characteristic, and description of pregnancy complications with heart disease in Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital of Riau Province. This study was using descriptive retrospective design with total sampling technique. The sources of data were medical records of pregnant patients with heart disease in January 2013 – December 2017 with number of sample is 33 patients that have met the inclusion criteria. The incidence of pregnancy with heart disease was 0,38%. Most of patients were 20-35 years old (72,7%), had previous heart disease before pregnancy (63,6%), and attending antenatal care four times or more (72,7%). Cardiac complication was found in 19 cases (57,6%) that was composed of maternal complications such as arrhytmias (24,2%), pulmonary edema (15,2%), heart failure (9,1%), and perinatal complications such as prematurity (21,2%), and low birth weight (15,2%).Keywords : pregancy, heart disease, complication
