Analisis Penerapan Green Campus Dalam Upaya Membentuk Green Corporate Image Dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Green Satisfaction Di Universitas Riau Pekanbaru
As a form of responsibility for environmental issues, there are now many universities that implement green campus. universities as educational institutions not only have a role in intellectual aspects but also contribute to the economy, social and environment. the goals and objectives of the green campus strategy are to improve the quality of education marked by research on the environment and the maintenance of natural resource quality, increase environmental awareness of campus residents and the community, ensure the existence of sustainable universities due to increasingly fierce competition in universities and create a positive image of universities.
This study aims to determine the effect of the implimentation of a green campus on green corporate image and green satisfaction at Riau University. The sample used is the entire University of Riau academic community which consists of three types of samples, namely lecturers, staff and students totaling 29831 populations. Using the proportionate stratified sampling approach with a total overall sample obtained is 156 and divided by each type of sample into 52 samples.
The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach which is operated through the SmartPLS 3.0 program. Based on the data analysis conducted, the value of the T-Statistics green campus towards the green corporate image is 17.590 and P-Values are 0.000, so the Hypothesis is accepted. However, the T-Statistics green campus value of green satisfaction is 1.861 and P-Values are 0.063, so the hypothesis is rejected. However, the green campus towards green satisfaction through green corporate image has a T-Statistics value which shows 9.718 and P-Values of 0.000, so the hypothesis is accepted.
The results of this study indicate that green campus positively influences green corporate image. But the green campus does not directly and significantly affect green satisfaction. The findings of this study are green campus has a significant indirect effect on green satisfaction through green corporate image.
