Gambaran Tingkat Kepatuhan Penggunaan Antihipertensi Pada Pasien Hipertensi Berdasarkan Medication Possession Ratio Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2017

Hypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Hypertension can’t healed, but can be controlled with regular treatment. Compliance of treatment is very important for patient to achieve the goals of th treatment. One of method to measure of compliance of patient in treatment is based on medication possession ratio (MPR). Medication possession ratio (MPR) is a method of measuring the compliance of patient in treatment with looked the patient visits each month for drug refill. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of compliance to antihypertension use in hypertension patient based on medication possession ratio in Arifin Achnad Hospital Riau Province 2017. This research was a descriptive study with retrospective method. The samples used was 95 samples. Assessment of patient compliance with looked at the patient’s visit to refill the drug every month from the prescription data for hypertensive patient from the depot of Pharmacy Installation at Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province. The results showed that the highest characteristic of hypertensive patient ≥ 60 years old were 61 people (64,2%), female were 61 people (64,2%). The level of compliance of obident hypertensive patient was 61 people (64,2%) and non compliance was 34 people (35,8%). The levels of compliance based on age and sex, the most obedient is the age of ≥ 60 years, it was 43 people (70,5%), female was 39 people (63,9%).
