Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) Berbasis Konstruktivisme Pada Materi Amina Melalui Lesson Study Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Dan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa
The research has been done with development of constructivism-based Student Worksheets (SWS) on amine material. The background of this research is the material related to the comparison between organic substances with substances of nomenclature, basicity, reactions of substitution and elimination. In addition, there are no SWS in learning that are based on learning models, so constructivism-based SWS can be used as alternative teaching materials that can be used in the learning process.
The research objective was to develop constructivism-based Student Worksheets (SWS) on valid amine material based on expert validation, lecturer responses, and student responses. Constructivism is a learning model that builds its own understanding and actively facilitates as a facilitator.
Research design developed is a 4-D model with the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The technique of collecting data on the study is, validation questionnaire, lecturer response questionnaire, student response questionnaire, learning outcome test and observation sheet. Constructivism-based SWS implementation is done through lesson study activities that have stages in Plan, Do, See and Act. The constructivism SWS developed consists of exploration, discussion and explanation of concepts, as well as the development and application of concepts.
SWS validation is carried out by 3 validators with an average yield of 94.8% included in the valid category. The results of the estimation of the lecturers are 85.5% with good categories. The results of student responses obtained a percentage of 86.76% in good category.
Applicable SWS are applied to students through lesson study activities. The stages of the plan are carried out before the implementation and stages are carried out during the learning process, while the stages of seeing are done after the learning process is complete and follow-up is done at the end. Learning activities obtained from the first, second, and third meetings obtained a percentage of consecutive average of 22%, 19%, 30%. Constructivism-based SWS on amine material can improve learning outcomes can be seen from the Wilcoxon test with a significance test of 0,000 < 0,05. While the learning outcomes between the low, medium and high groups can be seen by the Kruskal Walllis test having a significance value of > 0.05 means that it does not mean the difference in learning outcomes between the low, medium, and high groups.
