Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Komitmen Organisasi, Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Pegawai Di Sekretariat Daerah Kota Pekanbaru
This research analyses leadership and organizational commitment influence to job satisfaction to increase employee performance in Regional Secretary of Pekanbaru City. The research method used was a survey method and data analysis, to test the hypotheses using path analysis.
The population in this research is all employee of Regional Secretary of Pekanbaru City, amounting to 142 people. Based on logical considerations such as practicality, limited costs, time and energy, not all members of the population were sampled in this study, but some sample were taken to represent the entire population by stratified sampling. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula with a precision set at 5%. Thus the sample in this study amounted to 104 employees of the Regional Secretary of Pekanbaru City.
To process the data that has been obtained from the questionnaires and test the hypothesis that use computer tools with SPSS 20. These data are than processed by means of tes validity, reliability, and test coefficient of determination (R2).
This research found that all hypotheses in this research have been proven significanly The result showed that 1) leadership has a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction. 2) organizational commitment has a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction. 3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on the performance. 4) leadership has a positive and significant influence on the performance. 5) organizational commitment has a positive and significant influence on the performance of employee in the Regional Secretary of Pekanbaru City .
