Pengaruh Latihan Lari Terhadap Daya Tahan Otot Pada Anggota Komunitas Pelari Liburun Pekanbaru
Muscle endurance is the ability of the muscles to make repetitive movements over a period of time. This study aims to determine the effect of running exercises on cardiovascular endurance in Pekanbaru LibuRUN runner community. The type of this research is pre-experimental analytic static group comparison. The sample were members of the Pekanbaru LibuRUN runner community according to inclusion criteria as 31 respondents and compared with students in Medical Faculty of Riau University. This study uses push up and sit up tests. The results of this study showed that the muscle endurance with push up tests on the LibuRUN Pekanbaru runner community with very good categories amounting to 2 people (6.5%), good categories amounted to 12 people (38.7%) and enough categories amounted to 17 people (54, 8%). Muscle endurance with the sit-up test showed that very good categories amounting to 6 people (19.4%), good categories amounted to 8 people (25.8%) and enough categories amounted to 17 people (54.8%). The effect of running exercises on muscle endurance with push up and sit up tests on the LibuRUN runner community in Pekanbaru by following ABC training and running exercises together at the same time got better results than those who only joined the joint running practice.
