Dengue fever is a disease caused by dengue virus, and Aedes agypti mosquito are the main vector that transmit the viruses. Dengue fever still remains a health issues in Indonesia, including Pekanbaru City. Labuh Baru Timur, Payung Sekaki Subdistrict is an endemic area of dengue fever in Pekanbaru City. Insecticides is currently the main choice to control the vector of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, but the use of long term insecticides can be a risk factor for a resistancy, including resistancy household insecticides. The purpose of this study whos to describe the sensitivity of Ae. Aegypti mosquito household insecticides containing synthetic pyrethrod in endemic areas of Labuh Baru Timur, Pekanbaru City. This study whos a descriptive with cross sectional time approach. The sensitivity test was carried out using the WHO (World Health Organization) standard method, and the result is Ae. aegypti mosquitoes are susceptible to insectides X, Y, Z. The result of this study show that Ae. aegypti mosquitoes in Labuh Baru Timur, Pekanbaru City is susceptible to synthetic pyrethroids.
