Pengaruh Citra Kandidat, Citra Partai Pendukung, Iklan Politik Dan Kelompok Referensi Terhadap Keputusan Memilih Calon Kepala Daerah Dengan Politik Uang Sebagai Variabel Yang Mempengaruhi Dalam Dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Kabupaten Siak Tahun 2015
Under current openness, politics must not only be won through mobilizing the masses, but also through the use of clear marketing strategies. Politics is no different from the market, therefore, marketing is needed to get the maximum market share. As we all know, local politics always creates dynamics including those in Siak Regency. This requires that political parties (political parties) as instruments of democracy must align their political platforms with changes in society. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of candidate images, supporting party images, political advertising and reference groups on the decision to elect regional head candidates with money politics as an influencing variable in the 2015 Siak District head election. Formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of the candidate's image, supporting party image, political advertisement and reference group on the decision to elect a regional head candidate with money politics as a variable influencing the 2015 head election in Siak Regency.
The study was conducted in Siak Regency. The sample location was determined, namely Siak Sri Indrapura Subdistrict because the sub-district was the center of government of Siak Regency and Tualang District as the industrial center in Siak Regency. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. The nature of this research is descriptive explanatory research with the number of respondents totaling 150 people. The data analysis method used in this study is a multiple linear regression model.
The results showed that candidate images, political party images, political advertisements and reference groups simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on the decision to elect regional head candidates in the 2015 Siak District head election. Money politics variables proved to moderate the relationship between candidate images, image political parties, political advertisements and reference groups against the decision to elect regional head candidates in the 2015 head elections in the Siak Regency.
