Strategi Pengembangan Objek Wisata Pantai Marina Indah Puak Dikecamatan Medang Kampai Kota Dumai

This research was conducted in the Makmur Bay area, Medang Kampai District, Dumai City, Riau Province to find out the most appropriate strategy to develop Marina Indah Puak Beach Tourism Object in Medang Kampai District, Dumai City.
The data used in this study are primary data obtained using a sample questionnaire involving as many as 100 respondents consisting of tourism staff, managers, and visitors to Marina Indah Puak Beach. The analytical method used in this study is descriptive method and SWOT analysis.
Based on the results of this study the knowledge of the analysis of internal factors and the external factors of sub-total strength is 2.132 and sub total weaknesses are 0.798. Opportunity 2.1 and acaman 0.864. At the intersection (2.93: 2.96) where the situation is in region V in the IE matrix which is a Hold and Maintain region. Therefore the strategic alternative used is SO (Strength and Opportunities), with the consideration that the Marina Indah Puak Beach tourist attraction has good natural potential to be developed, but has not been used optimally, therefore developing Marina Indah Puak Beach must create a strategy by using Strength to take advantage of opportunities (Opportunities).
