Uji Potensi Antagonis Isolat Jamur Endofit Dari Tanaman Sagu (Metroxylon Spp.) Terhadap Ganoderma Boninense Penyebab Penyakit Busuk Pangkal Batang Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
Stem rot disease is important disease to oil palm plants caused by G. boninense. The research aims to observe and to obtain endophytic fungi isolates of sago palm plants which has the high potential antagonicity to inhibit G. boninense the cause of stem rot on oil palm plants. The research has been conducted at Plant Pathology Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau from August to December 2018. The methods used were exploration (isolation and purification of the endophytic fungi of sago palm plants), experiment (antagonicity, diameter and growth of endophytic fungi of sago palm plants) and observation (hypovirulency, hyperparasitism and identification of the endophytic fungi of sago palm plants). Data collected from exploration method and observation method were descriptively analyzed. Data collected from experiment method were analyzed with analysis of variance and the mean of the treatment were compared by using DNMRT 5%. The results founded 17 fungi isolates which 6 of them had the high potential antagonicity to inhibit G. boninense. Isolate E2A (from root tissue) has the highest antagonicity (72,26%). Three isolates were classified as Trichoderma (E2A, E2B and E3P), two isolates were classified as Pestalotiopsis (E2P and E4P) and one isolate were classified as Aspergillus (E4A).
