Pengaruh Nilai Tukar Dan Gdp Dunia Terhadap Ekspor Kertas Indonesia

This study aims to determine the effect of the rupiah exchange rate and world GDP on Indonesian paper exports. The independent variable used in this study is the rupiah's exchange rate against the US dollar and world GDP obtained from the World Bank in 1998-2017. The dependent variable used is the volume of Indonesian paper output obtained from Trade Map in 1998-2017.
This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to process available data estimated by the Eviews 10 program.
The results of the study show that the rupiah exchange rate and world GDP are simultaneously influence Indonesian paper exports. Partially, world GDP has a significant impact on Indonesian paper exports, while the exchange rate variable has no significant effect on Indonesian paper exports. R2 value shows the number 0.873498, which means that the relationship between the dependent and independent variables can be explained in 87.35% in the estimation model and the remaining 12.65% is explained outside the estimation model.
