Valuasi Ekonomi Ekowisata Mangrove Bandar Bakau Di Kelurahan Pangkalan Sesai Kecamatan Dumai Barat Kota Dumai Dengan Metode Biaya Perjalanan

Bandar Bakau Mangrove Ecotourism Is one of the tourist objects that are crowded in Dumai City, for that we need to know the economic value of this ecotourism. The purpose of this study was to find the economic value of Mangrove Mangrove Ecotourism in Dumai City and to see the effect of travel costs, distance, and income on the number of visits to Bandar Bakau Mangrove Ecotourism. The population in this study were 6753 people who visited Bandar Bakau Mangrove Ecotourism in Dumai City in 2018. The sampling technique in this study was accidental sampling, namely those found at ecotourism locations. The samples taken were 99 respondents. The data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative. The quantitative method uses multiple linear regression equations based on questionnaires.
Based on the results of economic calculations with the travel cost method, the economic value of Ecotourism Mangrove in the City of Dumai amounted to Rp1,116,703,092.00 per year. Of the three variables, namely the variable cost of travel, distance, and income all have an influence on the number of visits to Mangrove Ecotourism in the City of Dumai. The variable cost of travel and distance has a significant negative effect on the number of visits while the income variable has a significant effect. Bandar Bakau Mangrove Ecotorism is a tourism area that is very potential to be developed further. It is necessary to develop promotions, maintenance, and additional facilities to increase the number of visitors who will travel to this ecotourism.
