Dampak Event Pariwisata Tour De Siak Dalam Meningkatkan Kunjungan Wisata Di Kabupaten Siak

This research was conducted to determine the impact of Tour de Siak event in improving tourist visits in Siak District. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the number of tourist visits before and after the Tour de Siak event in Siak District, and to find out the difference in hotel tax revenue, restaurant tax and parking retribution during the implementation of the Tour de Siak event in Siak District. This research was started from December 2017 to February 2018 in the District of Siak. The research method used was descriptive quantitative method with t-test analysis technique. The data used in this study were secondary data in the form of tourist visit data and hotel tax data, restaurant tax and parking retribution obtained from the Department of Tourism and the Regional Finance Agency of Siak District. The results showed that there were no positive differences in the number of tourist visits in Siak District before and after the Tour De Siak event and there were no positive differences in restaurant tax, hotel tax and parking retribution in Siak district during the implementation and not the implementation of the Tour De Siak event.
