Analisis Tingkat Kedalaman Dan Keparahan Kemiskinan Pada Wilayah Perkotaan Di Sumatera

The purpose of this research is to analyze poverty in urban areas in Sumatera based on poverty indicators. This research used time series data for 2008-2017, covering of head count index, poverty gap index and severity gap index. This research used descriptive analyze which is quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the result of the analysis it can be concluded that, the poverty rate in urban area in Sumatera has decreased, with an average decline of head count index decreased by 0.35%, poverty gap index rate in urban areas in Sumatera decreased, with an decreased average by 0.09% and the severity gap index in urban areas in Sumatera has decreased, with an decreased average by 0.03%.
