Analisis Potensi Sektor Ekonomi Basis Dan Nonbasis Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau Tahun 2013-2017

To find out and analyze the economic sector which is the base and nonbase
sector in 2 (two) approaches, namely the value added approach and the
labor approach and potentially developed in the Siak Regency Province of Riau in
2013-2017, this study uses secondary data, namely the type of data obtained from
reports and books from several institutions involved in this study. The type of
research used is quantitative descriptive research and to support the
determination of the base and non-base sectors, the location value quation (LQ)
analysis of value added and labor LQ are used.
The results of the Regional research that were used as the object of
research were Siak Regency, indicating that based on the calculation of value
added LQ, there were two sectors included in the base sector, namely the mining
and quarrying sector and the processing industry with LQ> 1. While based on the
calculation of labor LQ there are four basic sectors, namely the construction
sector, hotel and restaurant trade, the transportation and communication sector,
and the services sector with LQ values> 1
